people together in celebration of food and art.
Join Eye Eaters Society on Wednesday, April 3 at critically-acclaimed Elske. Enjoy a four-course paired menu by chefs David and Anna Posey, inspired by the the collage work of Stephen Eichhorn. We can't wait to see how Anna, an illustrator and painter herself, and David's Scandinavian-influenced menu will engage with Eichhorn’s intricate and imaginative collages of new-micro-ecosystems.
*Dress Attire - All guest are asked to wear all black, head to toe in their own personal style.
Stephen Eichhorn (b. 1984, United States) lives and works in Chicago. He has had solo exhibitions at the Franklin Park Conservatory, Elmhurst Art Museum and the Chicago Athletic Association. His work has also been included in group exhibitions at the Tower Hill Botanic Gardens, the Ukrainian Institute of Modern Art, NEIU Fine Arts Center Gallery, Illinois State Museum Lockport Gallery and the Museum of Arts and Design, New York.
Elske, a modern American restaurant—located in Chicago’s West Loop neighborhood at 1350 West Randolph Street—from Chefs Anna and David Posey. With the restaurant borrowing its name from the Danish word “love”, there is a strong focus on an evolving philosophy, centering on simplistic fare, seasonal ingredients, and energetic hospitality. Together, along with General Manager and Beverage Director Kyle Davidson, they combine contemporary and classic techniques while showcasing local and seasonal ingredients.
