Join the Eye Eaters Society on Thursday, July 11 at 7pm for 'The Art of Taiyaki: An Eye Scream Social' at Mini Mott. Chef Edward Kim will share the history of taiyaki, the Korean fish-shaped ice cream cone, and teach us how the intricate delicacy is made. We'll sip on spritzes and enjoy an all-black Charcoal Taiyaki created specially for us on the patio.

The Eye Eaters Society presents Eating Rainbows, a dinner party inspired by the colors of the rainbow as interpreted by queer artists, chefs and bartenders.
Benefitting the Audre Lorde Project, Eating Rainbows intertwines culinary and performance artists inspired by each course's color. Enjoy a five-course menu by Lalito's Chef Kia Damon plus cocktails by Leyenda's Head Bartender Shannon Ponche.

About Lalito / Kia Damon:
Lalito is a coastal Californian restaurant with a Latin twist in New York's Chinatown neighborhood.
Hailing from the Gulf Coast, Chef Kia Damon brings her Southern roots and influences from the multiethnic flavors of NYC to the table. She works alongside general manager Carla Holguin, who heads up the front-of-house as well as the sound system, ensuring good vibes from day to night with the support of owners Mateusz Lilpop and Ben Dos Remedios.
